COVID-19 Office Procedures

We here at West-Watt Law, PLC continue to send best wishes and hope that you all are staying safe and well during these challenging times.

During the past few weeks, we have been working remotely and “meeting” with our clients telephonically, as well as doing court hearings either by phone or video-conference. As the courts begin to re-open, we are also planning to re-open our offices full time and want to update you with the protective protocols we are putting in place to ensure our clients, staff and attorneys remain safe and well.

We will continue to encourage meetings by phone or zoom as much as possible. Beginning May 18, 2020 and until further notice, where in-person meetings are requested or necessary, we will:

  1. Ask clients and guests to use hand sanitizer upon arrival – we will provide this.

  2. Ask our client or guest to wear a mask for the entire meeting – and we will provide a mask if you don’t have one of your own.

  3. Ask our client or guest to step inside and have temperature taken with a no-contact laser thermometer. If your temperature is over 100.5 degrees, we will not hold the meeting and will suggest that you consider having yourself checked for fever at a clinic or urgent care facility. If it is a hot day when you arrive, then we will wait a few minutes and re-do the temperature check to make sure we aren’t measuring a “Tucson temperature.”

  4. Have our clients review and sign a Release form prior to their meeting with us which we will keep on file.

  5. Maintain social distancing during the meeting.

These procedures will be repeated each time a client or guest comes to the office, even if that person completed the procedure only the day before. Our intent is not to cause our clients further distress by following these protocols, but to protect the safety and well- being of all clients, guests, attorneys and staff members.

A copy of our Consent and Release form can be found below.

Our attorneys and staff will all be back in the office, working full time, beginning May 18, 2020. Until then, our phones remain open at 520-795-7300 or you can email our paralegals at marilyn@wwlplc.com and tim@wwlplc.com to set up a specific time to talk or meet with one of our attorneys.

To all of our clients and friends, and those we have yet to meet, be safe and well.
