A. Marilyn Castro
Office Manager and Paralegal
Marilyn Castro has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in special education from St. Thomas University in South Florida. Her prior work experience was in the not-for-profit field, including as executive assistant and personal secretary to the president of her alma mater, St. Thomas University, as a social worker for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and as program manager for the American Cancer Society in Tucson. Marilyn joined our Firm in 2004.

Lorelei Velasquez
Paralegal
Lorelei Velasquez joined our firm as an Intern in Jan. 2019 in her last semester of college and was hired as a Paralegal in June 2020. She has an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal, Legal Asst. from Pima Community College. She is a Native Tucsonan, is fluent in Spanish and is continuing her education to attend the University of Arizona.

Sarah Gjertsen
Paralegal
Sarah Gjertsen is finishing her Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies at Pima Community College while she works part time as a paralegal for West-Watt Law, PLC, joining the firm in 2020. Her prior work experience includes tutoring for Pima Community College in the Writing Department as well as managing a Dollar Tree store.

Neville R. Remick
Executive Assistant Extraordinaire (EAE) (Of Counsel)
Neville joined our firm in 2010. He is a vocal activist for animal rights and enjoys varied office hours. Neville retired in 2019 but still makes occasional visits to oversee his Junior Assistant Chewie.

Chewie S. Barker
Junior Executive Assistant Extraordinaire (JEAE)
Chewie joined our Firm in 2019 and has proven to be both an ardent animal rights’ activist, as well as a passionate advocate for playtime in the workplace. Chewie is always available and happy to spend time with clients whether by appointment or walk-in. His middle name is “stress relief.”
